Beauty Elixir and Melissa Carr Cosmetic tattoo are thrilled to have turned one. In their first year at the new salon the business has grown along with its expansive list of services.
“It humbles me and I am very grateful to the Helensville community for their acceptance of the business and of Maria and I in our first year. We are passionate about our work and we are thrilled to provide beauty therapy services to our local community and further afield. We are continually grateful for the support we are given,” says Melissa.
Ably supported by experienced beauty therapist Maria Schofield, Beauty Elixir is abuzz with treatments, chatter and satisfied customers. Amber (our fabulous new administrator) is taking care of the bookings and all the front-of-clinic tasks that pop up during the day, along with making sure clients are attended to and well looked after.
Melissa provides her cosmetic tattooing services to people from all over the North Island, from as far away as Kaitaia in the north and Wellington in the south. Bringing many visitors (customers) to other Helensville businesses and contributing to the local economy is an additional benefit of being in business here.
Along with her traditional cosmetic tattoo treatments, Melissa is now helping breast cancer
survivors with recreating the nipple and areola after reconstruction surgery. This type of surgery and affects the confidence and self-esteem of many breast cancer survivors. Melissa understands their needs and provides a private & confidential environment for her clients’ comfort and the treatments provided.
Tattoo removal is also becoming one of the business’s popular services. “More people today are enquiring about getting an ‘old mistake’ removed, and it’s a thrill to be able to offer this service to them,” says Melissa.
Beauty Elixir and Melissa Carr Cosmetic Tattoo is destined to stand the test of time in Helensville. Going from strength to strength after a successful opening and first year’s trading, the clinic will continue to shine the light for beauty therapy within the Helensville community.
