Art Centre Helensville is part of Auckland’s Festival of Photography. This year we will be exhibiting works of Kaipara College students alongside local photographers. We are excited to see potential upcoming emerging artists from our youth. Exhibition runs from 29th May to 15th June.

For Matariki we have an open call to artists for this exhibition which runs from the 19th June to the 6th of July. Details and entry form for this show can be found on our website, if you would like to enter artwork for this exhibition deadline is Saturday 15th June. 10th July to 3rd August is local artist Susannah Connolly and guest artist’s exhibition ‘Nature is Calling.’ Opening night 12th July 5-7pm will have poetry reading all welcome, it will be a creative night not to miss. Alongside this exhibition in our Media Room Gallery we will be exhibiting two local youth artists Tilly and Yoshi.

‘Try July’ is back with free Friday workshops, each Friday 11am -1pm we will have something new to try out, this is a good way to ‘test the creative waters’ and find a practice you enjoy! No booking required just turn up any Friday 11-1 during the month of July. Further details of Friday workshops will be posted on our website and facebook page.
