A Punny Performance
April’s bi-monthly Poetry and Storytelling event saw Barbara Harry perform a very humours piece called ‘Work in Progress’ with lots of job related puns such as; Didn’t stay with Dentistry - I couldn’t get my teeth into it Optometry? I lacked super-vision and lost sight of my goal, this caused a spectacle!
Why not have a go at performing an original poem, story or piece of writing? Next event will be 6-8pm June 12th at the Helensville Community Church, 40 Mill Road, next to the Hospice Shop, opposite Mitre 10. Bring a supper plate. $3 cover charge.
