Third Kaukapakapa Photo Competition,
Sunday 2nd June to Sunday 9th June.
The third photo competition for A Week in the Life of Kaukapakapa is coming up in June. Come along to the Library on Sunday 19th May when the Village Market is on to find out more and have a look at the entries from the last two years to get inspired. The competition, which will take place during the period from Sunday 2nd June to Sunday 9th June, is for any photos taken in the Kaukapakapa area during the week. Images must be identifiable as Kaukapakapa to qualify for a prize. A maximum of three digital images from each entrant must be received by 6pm Tuesday 11th at threehorses@xtra.co.nz. One picture from each entry will be printed and displayed in the Kaukapakapa Hall during the market on the morning of Sunday 16th June so that a People’s Choice award can be selected.
Prizes will be presented to the Best Junior Photo for Under 12 photographers, The best Over 12 Photograph and a People’s Choice Photograph. Winning photographers will receive an A3 canvas print of their winning image and a $50 Westfield Voucher. Awards will be presented in the Hall at Mid-Day on Sunday 16th June during the Kaukapakapa Village Market. The People’s Choice Winner will be chosen from the images displayed during the morning of the Market. The decision of the judges will be final.
