A new early childhood centre in the heart of Helensville will boost childcare options for busy local families.
Enrolments are now open at Active Explorers Helensville, a modern, purpose built centre on Commercial Road. Nestled amongst farmland, and overlooking the Kaipara River, the centre will offer high quality care and education for up to 85 infants, toddlers and preschoolers.
Equipped with the latest educational resources and a large and dynamic outdoor play space, facilities will also include three separate rooms specially designed for under twos, toddlers and preschoolers. Centre Manager Maria Golding has lived in the area for 20 years and is excited to be at the helm of the new offering.
“It will be a privilege to be part of the learning journeys of our local tamariki,” she says. “We will set children up with a love of learning and provide them with experiences that will build their confidence and capabilities so they reach their full potential.”
Golding is a fully registered teacher with a Degree in Education and a Diploma of Teaching in Early Childhood Education (ECE). She will be supported by a team of passionate teachers dedicated to bringing out the best in every child. “Local tamariki will have the opportunity to be involved in a quality early learning environment supported by teachers who truly believe that children are our future.”
