What’s been happening and things to come at Art Centre Helensville.
Yet again we had another great opening night at the art centre for our Matariki exhibition. We warmly encourage the community to come to our opening nights, they are a great way to connect, meet our local artists and be involved in what’s happening at the art centre.
Our next exhibition and opportunity to attend an opening is in August for Cindy Vida’s exhibition. Opening night is Friday 5th August 6-8pm. Cindy will also be running a 3 part series workshop on abstract landscape painting using acrylic. Alongside Cindy will be artist Thomas Hogan’s exhibition in the media room gallery.
We had our first school holiday programme run by Creative Matters in July. The kids had a blast and each class was fully booked with a waiting list for next term. We are happy to announce we will continue Creative Matters holiday programs which will also include
the Christmas holiday period.
