Art Centre Helensville is continuing to operate from Helensville Museum for the month of March. Due to the bad weather we have had recently it has caused delay in construction work that was otherwise on track for completion in our building. None the less we are thrilled as we are enjoying the company of the lovely team here!

Our next exhibition ‘Reflections at the Museum’ will run from March 8th – April 1st, opening evening 10th March please check out our facebook page for information closer to the date.
Oil Painting Workshop
We had a very successful oil painting workshop in February with artist Diana Peel. The class full of fun and enthusiasm, each participant took home a completed oil painting and new skills! As this class was fully booked we are running a second workshop. Saturday March 4th 10-2 at the Museum all materials provided, workshop fee $165 please email manager@artcentrehelensville.org.nz for booking and detail enquiries. Be in quick to reserve a spot! School Holiday Program
Creative Matters will be running holiday programs at the Art Centre these April school holidays! Go to creativematters.co.nz to book. Each holiday has been a colourful delight to our community with these classes.
Ceramics Course

Upcoming in April we have local artist and ceramicist Rachel Murphy running a 6 week ceramics course which will be held at the Art Centre. Rachel is a long established artist, exhibitor and tutor, we are fortunate she has moved to the Helensville region offering regular ceramics courses to our community.
