New Works by our member artists will be on exhibition from the 3rd – 27th April, opening night 5th April 5-7pm all welcome.
Artist Jeffrey Thomson is offering two workshops this April. Beginning with a plein-air drawing day in the artist’s garden! This will take place on Sunday the 7th April 10-4. Come and enjoy an hour or two (or more) of creativity exploring the garden and studio of Jeff Thomson and Shona Cameron.
The artists say’s “explore a rich visual playground full of textures, shapes and colours through drawing, painting or photographing. Bring your own paper and media to work with. Drawing boards and chairs available, Coffee, tea and soup available throughout the day. If you want, bring your own food. 12 Awaroa Road, Helensville; gold coin donation.
Saturday April the 20th will be a French Knitting workshop using diverse media’s, Jeff will take you through creating your own French knitting tool to create unique shapes with the method of knitting. $30 per person which covers materials, limit of 10 people in this workshop so booking is essential. 1st – 25th of May is a group exhibition by the Helensville Art Trail.. This will be a multidisciplinary show with 2d and 3d artists including jewelry.

Our afterschool kid’s class is growing with lots of drop-in’s! Term two we will be extending the Illustration course from 6 weeks to be 8 weeks during the school term. Please visit our website for full course details.
