DESCRIPTION:The annual Arts in the Ville festival will again be held over Labour Weekend. This year the Helensville Women’s Centre is collaborating with the organisers and will be holding a charity art auction on Saturday 21st October as part of the festival.\nYarn bombing (also known as kniffiti) has become a feature of the event and spot yarn bombing will appear from time to time leading up to Labour Weekend. The organising team - Kura\, Jo and Denise - need your help. They need more people knitting to build up their yarn bombing stocks and are holding a public knit-in to replenish their stocks.\nPublic Knit-In\nSaturday 18 March 2017\, 10am – 3pm\nCovered area at the back of Creek Lane\n(by the carpark in the centre of town).\nBring Wool and Knitting Needles \nThey’d love to see you there. \n
