DESCRIPTION:This 90 minute workshop will introduce you to parenting strategies and concepts to support tamariki through times of change\, uncertainty\, heightened anxiety and trauma. \nKindred Family Services are pleased to be hosting 'Parenting Through Challenging Times’\, a workshop developed and presented by The Parenting place. Through good communication skills\, empathy and positive connection with our Tamariki\, we can begin to build resilience for past traumas and future events that may occur. Please note that the Kaipara College Session on Monday 22 May is specifically tailored to parents of teens\, while all other workshops are more suited to parents of primary-age children and younger.
