The biggest event in the Kaipara Classic Car Club calendar is set to take place in the grounds of the Helensville Museum on Sunday 19 November. Sponsored by Saker Automotive, the event gives both locals and out-of-towners the opportunity to show off their classic cars and bikes in a carnival atmosphere. Music will be provided by live band Slick Back, there will be a choice of food, including Pita Pit and this year a licence has been obtained for a cash bar on site. Gates open at 9.30am, the show starts at 10am and the prize-giving will be held at 2pm.
All classic cars and bikes are welcome. The cost of entry is $5 per car or bike plus driver and you can enter on the day. For everyone else the cost of entry is a gold coin, with the proceeds going to the Helensville Museum.
