Haunted Night

One of the more frightful scares of 2016 Photos by Stella Nova

The Helensville Museum is holding another haunted house night on 27th October 2017 at 8.30pm just after dark – you can arrive up to 10pm to start the tour. This event last year was a huge success if the screams were anything to go by. This year the team have put together another scary night for people over 13 years old. There is an age restriction on this event as the little scenes are really scary. Last year there were a number of visitors who did not make it all the way round – CAN YOU??
The event is held at night and all the lights will off to help with the atmosphere. Bring a torch to light your way around the Museum. There will be a safe house – the Schoolhouse and a small group of about 5-6 people will be led around the other buildings. This will enhance the scare factor of the experience. Each tour will take about ½ hour to complete. There will be a theme again this year but you will have to come to find out what. There is a great group of actors who will try to scare you silly. The organiser is Jen McCann who has got together the same team as last year.
There will be tea/coffee for a gold coin donation while you wait or after your tour. A raffle will also be running with the draw being at the end of the evening. As there may be a queue to go through you will be given a number as you arrive so that you can have a good look around the Schoolhouse and not lose your place.
We look forward to seeing you all there for this great fundraiser for the Helensville Museum. The volunteers at the Museum are always looking for different ways to raise funds and appreciate the support that the community gives to this great place. The cost of this great event is $10 per person and $5 per student (bring student ID for discount). EFTPOS AVAILABLE
