A much-anticipated annual event at Helensville Bowling Club, it is the Club’s main tournament for women. And it is fiercely competitive with prize money of $1,000.00.
Held over two days, the second day was lots of fun with a fancy dress theme of “Happy Days.” This could be interpreted as harkening to the good old days or, alternatively, to dress-up inspired by the TV show, Happy Days (see Best Dressed Winners pictured).
Craigweil House’s Facility Co-ordinator, Deb Presland, is a proud member of the Helensville Bowling Club. Deb entered the tournament with her team mates Georgina Waru, Didge Cullen, and Kelly Clark coming in at 3rd Place.
Taking 2nd place was Michelle Kean, Judy McSweeney, Maureen Howden, and Lin East.
And coming in at a well-deserved 1st place was Jan Harrison, Christine Daizell, Kerin Roberts, and Elaine McClintoch.
Again, Craigweil House wishes to congratulate all the teams this year at the Women’s Classic Fours.
