Horizontal and Vertical design by Jenny Place
There were 14 Members, including three new ladies who have joined our Club recently, present at our Monthly Meeting on August 17th 2017, at the Masonic Hall in Kowhai Street.
The Title for the day was OPPOSITES ATTRACT; this was hosted by Jenny Place and Cushla Hawkes
The idea was to make two designs. The first to be assembled in the morning, the other (opposite) in the afternoon, and then display them together for judging.
The designs made were, square and round, short and tall, black and white, rough and smooth, horizontal and vertical. It was an amazing display of Floral Art design.
New Members welcome. We have had 5 ladies join us over the last couple of months, which is great for our Club. We meet on the third Thursday of the month. There are four more months of interesting Floral work this year including a trip in October.
