Just a quick note to say you will see new faces among our staff, so we thought we’d introduce all of our team.
Sally is the Helensville Library and Service Centre manager. She has been here for over 15 years, and is our rock.
Anne is our Senior Librarian Children & Youth. She is the Rainbow Lady. Anne has been at Helensville for nine years.
Joy is our Senior Library & Council Services Assistant. Joy is new to libraries and started with us in August. Joy has a background in education and councils overseas.
Rachel is our full-time Library & Council Services Assistant. Rachel has been with us for five years. She enjoys doing kids time, and leading our sing-a-long sessions at Craigweil.
Alison is one of our part-time Library & Council Service Assistants. Alison joined us five years ago, with an extensive background in libraries elsewhere, including academic and
research.
Kim is one of our new part-time Library & Council Service Assistants. Kim has a background in science and food. We are working out how we can utilise her background in holiday programmes.
Richelle is one of our new part-time Library & Council Service Assistants. Richelle has a background in education, care work, fashion, props making… and she loves dressing up. This combination seemed too good to pass up.
Linda is one of our part-time Library & Council Service Assistants. Linda has been with us for a number of years — first as a casual. We were ecstatic when she joined us permanently.
Linda is a star at our read aloud sessions at Craigweil.
We are looking forward to working with our new look team – and hope you make them all welcome, next time you’re in. Services during building work:
The Library and Service Centre will be here in one form or another throughout the work on the Hall building.
But, also, we are working with our mobile library team to pop up at other locations over the summer.
