Friday 26th October 2018 from 4pm – 7.30pm
The students are eager to share with the community their various projects worked on both at home and in classrooms. Craft activities include models, photos, box and paper plate creations, dream catchers, decorated gumboots and many more. These can be viewed on the day of the event in classrooms and in the school hall.
After spending numerous hours training and preparing their animals ready to share with the community, many of the students are just as excited to have their animals compete in the annual lamb, kid and dog shows.
Music and commentary by local artists and our very own Kapahaka and Pasifika group performances will keep you entertained.
The Mega Raffle Draw will be a highlight of the event, as well as our silent auctions. Prizes include Jucy Van Rental, Caci Clinic treatment packages, restaurant vouchers, cash prizes, admission passes to a number of venues including Parakai Pools, Snow Planet, Hoyts Movie Theatre, Tree Adventures, Ten Pin and many more.
A great selection of homemade food will be on offer to purchase, as well as a bake stall with lots of goodies to grab.
Kids will be kept busy all afternoon, spending time digging for prizes in the sandpit, exploring the wide range of senior games, having a go on the bouncy castle, getting their face painted, viewing the displays or trying out the 10metre high climbing wall.
Look out for the signs displayed around our community, advertising our event. Come along and enjoy a fun filled afternoon with friends and family.
