Helensville warm up for Christmas in the Park Stars

The Levites, Stan Walker’s backing band, with support artist Erakah and backing vocalists Nathan and Lilo, along with Brass4sho, will perform at Helensville Museum from after 1pm on Saturday 2nd December, a week before they perform with Stan at Auckland’s Christmas in the Park. Ness Abernethy will also perform on both occasions. Additionally the Helensville Christmas Music Festival, following the Santa Parade, will feature Adeaze and Ben Lummis
Popular local band Flintwater Express will set the atmosphere at the Museum from 12.30pm. Also from Helensville based AAA Records, Miss Peach and The Travellin’ Bones will bring their haunting Folk Noir show and Cuban star Domingo Candelario will have you captivated and your feet tapping to his neo Cuban style. Both artists have released now internationally acclaimed albums in 2017.
The afternoon will include food stalls, bar facilities, bouncy pirate ship, Santa photos, face painting, lolly scramble. A real family day out, beginning in the Helensville town centre from 9.30am. Entertainment, bouncy castle, ice cream and face painting at Creek Lane, with Santa photos at the RSA, before the Santa Parade at midday. The parade starts at West Street (north) and travels through the town to the Museum in Mill Road. Ritchies will provide free buses to the Museum from the parade route, after the parade has passed, with return rides from 3pm to 3.45pm.
