Kaukapakapa Playcentre in the Community

kkk-playcentreWe have had a very up and down year this year, but have come through it with generous donations and amazing community members. All funds raised and donated go towards the equipment and maintenance we need to help keep our children happy, safe and healthy - all while learning through play - our Playcentre philosophy.
So this year, members of the Kaukapakapa Playcentre decided to give a little back and worked to contribute shoeboxes filled with gifts for children living in poverty in Fiji to support the All Saints involvement in “Operation Christmas Child”.
”Operation Christmas Child” involved choosing an age range of 2-4, 5-9, or 10-14 and boy or girl for each shoebox, then filled with gifts such as something to wear, something to play with, something for school, something to love, something special and something for personal hygiene.
Mariah Arnerich (3) and her Mum Hannah O’Leary then delivered the boxes to the church to be posted off to Fiji in time for Christmas.
