It’s A Good Old Fashioned Family Day Out at the Kaukapakapa School Gala, the biggest fundraising event for Kaukapakapa School.
The Kaukapakapa School Gala is back! The family fun day out is one of the major fundraising events for Kaukapakapa School and will be held on the school grounds Saturday 18th February 2017.
The School Support Group says that it will be bigger and better than ever with loads of fun rides, activities and great food for all ages. We will have Cookie Time Rides, White Elephant/Garage Sale, Horse and Pony rides,Quick fire raffle, Cake Stalls, Hot Food and Ice Cream along with some great games like Splat the Rat and the popular Plate Smash, plusall day entertainment on stage. A feature this year will be our White Elephant/Garage Sale, some great items donated, but you want to get in early to pick up the best deals.
This year the School Support Group are hopping to raise funds from this Galafor a number of projects on the go at the school, which include replacing the Arch Gola and supplying equipment for our new classrooms, “all those things that help the children of KaukapakapaSchool to learn in a productive and fun environment, that the ministry simply cannot afford to fund” says Principal Tony Westrupp.
We will have an EFT-POS “Cash Out” facility on site, an essential part of this fundraising event in the “Cash-less society” of today. So bring the whole family down for this fantastic, fun filled day, we would love to see you!
