The Year 5/6 syndicate spent last term studying life in Medieval Times. The students had to develop their own medieval identity, which they drew from a hat. They created a profile on their identity and they wrote a comparative exposition about who had it better. We have included some examples in this newsletter.
To celebrate all our new learning a feast was held. Each student dressed as their medieval identity and a traditional fare was put on. We had jesters and peasants entertaining the kings, queens, lords and ladies. Knights were on hand to protect the nobility at all times. All had an absolutely festive time. Some photos are included.
Some fantastic homework assignments were presented as well as stained glass artwork. All of these are on display in our classrooms for you all to view anytime.
