Melissa Moore
Congratulations to Year 11 Kaipara College student Melissa Moore, who has become the 2018 National Junior Girls Champion in tenpin bowling. In October, Melissa won Gold in six events, including singles, doubles and masters, Bronze in the team event and two other trophies at the 2018 Junior Youth Nationals in Hastings.
Since Melissa began playing tenpin bowls five years ago she has competed in four national tournaments. She is currently playing with Waitakere Rangers. Melissa and her family send a big shout out to Ernie Jensen, who has seen her potential and put time into coaching her.
