Our first exhibition of the year is Leigh based artist Andy Turner, with his ‘popping candy’ colour palette and a bit cubist, bit surrealist thematic display. Turner’s artwork will be an enjoyable way to kickoff 2022!
A builder by profession and having trained in a carving workshop, Turner adds to his artistic repertoire sculpture. Most recently he has turned his paintings into 3d wood carvings. Some of which will be included in this show.
Previous exhibitions include Art Space in 1995, various shows in Auckland, murals in Leigh and international showing in Ko Phang Ghan Thailand, and Raratonga.
We are thoroughly looking forward to having Andy in our Gallery. Exhibition dates are 26th January to 26th February.
Following Turner is ‘Helensville Art Trail’. Twelve artists, who have open studios on the third Sunday of every month in Helensville, will be joining forces for this combinative event. The show will run through the month of March with the dates posted closer to the time.
