Our giant Book Fair was a huge success, so thank you all for supporting us. We can offer our Community so much more now as all the proceeds go back into helping you. Our Christmas Raffle was very successful and the winners were: Roy Ayres, Parakai; Own Jackson , Helensville; Hayley Wilson, Helensville; Lyn Curran, Helensville; Larissa, Parakai; Thelma Faulkner, Helensville. Thank you everyone who bought a ticket.
In November we gave financial aid to Camp Quality for children with cancer; Helensville Museum; Adult Literacy programme; and our Scouts for their Jamboree.
The tragic events around Kaikoura, had Lions - internationally, local and Helensville Lions; rally round offering assistance Lions Club to Lions Club.
Kaipara College had their annual Speechmakers Contest, and we were proud to present our Lions Trophy to Jake Clayton for his thought provoking speech. Jake came to our meeting and presented his speech for us all to hear.
