This was a busy month for us preparing and delivering our Lions Telephone Book. This directory relies on local businesses advertising, enabling us to deliver a free copy to every resident in our community, so our grateful thanks to all who advertised. You should all by now have received your copy and we hope you find it useful.
At our last social meeting, we had a very interesting speaker from Angel Flights - where volunteers use their own aircraft to rescue the injured. Outwest Youth Community Trust Driver Education Programme asked us for help, so we gave them a monetary donation. Also we were able to send a donation to the Lions Club of Edgecumbe to help them purchase equipment to help clean up after the recent floods. We took part in the Anzac Ceremony by laying a remembrance wreath.
Look out for our Book Fair at the end of May - always well worth a visit.
