Well here we are into the mixed weather that Autumn brings. What a storm earlier this month – it was a good opportunity for neighbours to come together and help each other out.
Helensville Lions have three projects on the go. Within the next couple of weeks keep an eye on your letter box!. We will be “walking the streets” delivering your Lions local telephone directory.
26th/27th May will be our bi-annual Book Fair, put these dates in your diary. We look forward to helping you find your winter reading.
Our third project is our planned Keep Fit Trail around Rautawhiri Park, commencing hopefully mid June.
Our sad news is that a Past President of our Club, Ed Hayhoe, has passed away. He was a long-standing member of Helensville Lions and held various prestigious appointments within the Lions organisation. RIP Ed.
