Happy New Year everyone
We are so lucky here in New Zealand having so very few restrictions put on us due to COVID. We must not be complacent as most other countries are not so lucky. They have other natural disasters to cope with as well. LCIF our International Branch of Lions , provide relief for such events. We as a Club contribute to LCIF and thus are part of these contributions.
US$10.000 was sent to Croatia to help with rebuild after 3 earthquakes.
US$200.000 has been sent to provide relied to India, Brazil, Italy and Sri Lanka flood relief; and Colombia storm damage; the Phillipines for typhoon damage and Greece for earthquake damage.
We had an excellent Book Fair and are looking forward to our next at the end of May.
27th February is the A@P Show where you will find us catering in the refreshment hall, equestrian tent and our Information tent.
