Up-coming Exhibitions and Workshops
April sees the first of two Annual Art Kaipara Members Exhibitions, September being the next. Art Kaipara Membership is open to anybody of any age and ability and it is just $20 to become a member for 2018, $10 if aged 16 or under. After that there is no exhibitor fee and no commission on sales in either exhibition.
May sees our second ‘Up-cycle’ Exhibition. In this exhibition anyone may bring in absolutely anything they have up-cycled and exhibit it for just $4 per item. Works to arrive Sat 28th April 10-2 or Tuesday 1st May 10-4.30. Exhibition runs May 5th-26th with it’s Opening Night on Friday 4th May 5-7pm. All welcome.

in small ink type pots and are basically the pure colour without the thickeners we are used to seeing in the acrylic tubes.
Pending funding from the ‘Creative Communities’ Scheme, there will be an up-cycle/assemblage art workshop on Sunday April 29th 10am-2pm with Andrew Hall for just $5 per participant. This will give people the opportunity to create works to display in the ‘Up-cycle’ Exhibition. There will also be a ceramics workshop with Susan Browne on Saturday May 5th 10am-2pm for building and Saturday May 26th 10am-2pm for glazing, $60 if funding is received, $95 if not. Create anything you want, it just has to be able to fit into a kiln!
