At the Helensville Museum we are currently on a drive to recruit new volunteers to help with the roster duty to enable us to open the Museum. This is not an onerous duty and only requires about 2 ½ hours per month during the weekend afternoons. Over the years there has always been support for the Museum but some of the volunteers have moved away to retirement places and we now have several slots which we need filling. Can you help? You will be partnered with an experienced volunteer. The duty involves showing people around the museum and in the process you will learn a bit about the rich history of Helensville. There are so many stories to tell of the brave settlers who came to this place.
