From 8am the club was buzzing with excited energy for the day that was to come. It was amazing to see our players and supporters display a huge sense of pride for the game of rugby and our beloved club…
Our Club Day concluded with celebrating Dillon (DJ) O’Leary becoming a centurion of Helensville Rugby Club. The first centurion in 16 years! DJ represents our club with an abundance of loyalty and humility. It is an honour to have DJ showcase his talent on our fields and we thank him for his commitment.
Our previous centurions were present to support DJ for his induction to the centurion club. We are proud to see that our centurions still see Helensville Rugby Club as a home. Each and every one of the centurions still serve our club, in the form of playing, coaching, supporting, being committee members etc.
The heart of Helensville is found within Helensville Rugby Club and Club Day was the best display of that. We would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who supported bringing club day to life.
