Cups!!
Our members exhibition this September is ‘Cups’, and what an exciting diverse show it has turned out to be! From ceramics to crochet, painting to collage and mixed media, we can’t wait to present this for public viewing 27 August – 20 September.
Exhibitions for September -October pacific artist Lo Leni will be held in the main gallery, and Because in our media room. Both artists styles compliment the other and we’re excited to have new artists to the gallery. Dates are 24th September – 18 October, we welcome you to the opening night of both shows on Friday 26th September 5-7pm

‘Street Maori’ te reo group every Tuesday during school term 6-7:30 koha donation. ‘Gas Bag’ free art and craft group meet each Wednesday 11-1 tea and coffee provided, BYO art and craft!

Term 4 afterschool kids and teen classes enrol now! Tuesday and Thursday 3:30-5pm ages 6-11, Wednesday 3:30-5pm ages 12-15. Arts in the Ville October is around the bend! We are giving the event a boost this year and will have food trucks around with additional studio spaces for artists! We are excited for the event this year that runs over Labour weekend Saturday to Monday.

Following the success of previous years ‘Kaipara Cup’ paper boat race by creator and organizer Jeff Thomson, we will be running this again along with workshops prior to the event for anyone to come and join in the making, keep an eye out on our facebook page for details. This along with Jeff’s Treasure Hunt which will extend further around Helensville this year will make for a fun filled creative weekend for the whole family!
