Having moved from the city a few years ago we have been really impressed by the community spirit in the Kaipara area. In particular we look forward to the Helensville Community News arriving in our letterbox each month. The ads from local businesses, the trade listing on the back page are particularly useful as we like to 'buy local'.
The wide variety of articles about events and activities in the area are compelling reading, and the 'What's happening this month' is a great help in finding out what's on.

As a solo mother I am always looking for helpful advice and I find the articles about budgeting, security and keeping safe, and where to get help, like the CAB, are really great. Also, as my little ones love swimming, the tide charts are very handy so we can plan just the right time to go to the beach.
