The Helensville Library children crafternoon-ers made a wreath to present at the public ceremony on Anzac Day. They learnt – or already knew – about the different coloured poppies worn for Remembrance Days, and their meaning.
Hello New Bin!
New Auckland Council rubbish bins are coming to Rodney homes. We are transitioning from the use of purchased bin bags to a council-provided, rates-funded refuse collection service. This will require residents to use council rubbish bins for weekly collection and request a bin size that suits their needs; otherwise, a default 120L bin will be delivered in July.
Check our website to request a smaller or larger bin and delivery info. Before the 18 May, you can request a smaller (80L) or larger (360L) bin, free of charge. After the 18 May, there will be an administration fee. aucklandcouncil.govt.nz/rubbish-recycling/rubbish-service-changes/Pages/rodney-rates-funded-rubbish-collections.aspx
