Creative Recycling for kids 8 to 12 years old
9am – 3pm, Helensville Community Recycling Centre, 31 Mill Road, down the driveway next to Mitre 10. A fun day making cool stuff from recycled materials. Learn how to weave using lots of different materials, make jewellery from bottle tops and a skipping rope from plastic bags. Learn how to build a worm farm and pallet garden or living wall.
