Highlights of our month
Have you seen the miharo art work on the library walls? Yvonne, from Art Centre Helensville, led our children’s crafternoon-ers in a day of art to liven up our outdoor spaces.
Our Lego and Duplo club every Saturday morning is going from strength to strength! We love seeing the creativity and imagination of our children.
New bookmarks!
We had a bookmark design table at the Helensville A&P Show, and our winning entries have now been printed. Pick one up next time you’re in. Or, maybe the whole set.
Did you know that we visit many local early childhood centres each month.

We also visit Craigweil House weekly for reading sessions and monthly for sing-a-longs.
These community outreach sessions are some of the best 
part of being involved in our community.
Introducing: Brain Charge: date and time to be finalised
Join us for free fun activities to exercise the mind.
The monthly sessions will have a variety of activities including learning new skills, crafting, quizzing and having fun.
All are welcome to come along to any of these monthly sessions.
Tea and Coffee will be provided.
Our regular programmes:
Kids Time, for under 6s and their grown-ups: Wednesdays, 10am to 10.30am.
Minecraft: Wednesdays, 3.30pm to 4.30pm.
Crafternoon for adults: Thursdays, 3pm to 4.30pm
Crafternoon for kids: Thursdays, 3.30pm to 4.30pm.
Baby Play, a playgroup for under 6s and their grown-ups: Fridays, 10am to 11am.
Book Chat: Thursday 23 April, 10am to 11am.
Bring along a book you’ve recently read and loved – or disliked – to share with fellow readers.
