Local classic car and truck enthusiasts, under the umbrella of Kaipara Classic Car Club, meet on Thursdays from 5pm in their clubroom at Swale Earthmovers on Mill Rd. Activities during the year include Shine N D’Ville, where local and out of towners show off their Classic cars, trucks and bikes in a carnival atmosphere, and Cruise In, an annual classic vehicle show held in Te Aroha.
The club is having an open day in April, where members will be showing off their club cars and sharing a sausage and a beer with their visitors.
New club members are very welcome.
