We are entering events season and it is all go in the North West.
The FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 has started and businesses in the North West and surrounds can make the most of the atmosphere and place bunting in their shop fronts. All members can receive their bunting for free, simply pop into Harcourts The Difference in Helensville and speak to Nicky Horsbrough, or Kaipara Community Health Trust and speak to James Scott.
Making the most of FIFA, our first local business networking event was held on Tuesday 25th July at the grounds of the West Coast Rangers in Huapai. The Rangers have two home grounds, one in Huapai and the other in Taupaki. The Taupaki grounds are hosts to the Vietnamese team so we have some international talent right here with us in the west.
Our highlight event of the year, the Business Awards, is now open for nominations and we look forward to hearing from everybody. Entrants are given the option of a mystery shopper, and we have a few new business categories associated with fitness and health. The winners will be announced at a dinner at Allely Estate in early November. This is a fun night attended by hundreds of staff from local businesses across the district and compered by a celebratory MC.Entries close 6pm Friday 25th August 2023.
