Vote for Your Favourite Businesses in the 2025 Business Awards

September and October are the months where the finalists of the awards are all rivalling to take out the People’s Choice Awards and you can help with that.  Everyone has one chance to vote for their favourite businesses with the hope they will be North West Country’s favourite.

Last season over 12,000 people cast votes for their local heroes with Hapunan Filipino Cuisine taking out the People’s Choice award.  Let’s make this season even bigger and get your family and friends to join in.

Emergency Business Hub Complete

The Emergency Business Hub in Mill Road, Helensville, is now complete and is a stand-alone facility for business use.  Now boasting Star Link and a generator, the hub can be used in any emergency situation to support our businesses to operate.

Supporting Kumeu Businesses Through Change

North West Country and Future-Kumeu Incorporated and collaborating to support Kumeu, Huapai and Waimauku businesses to deal with the effects of flooding and future land use changes.

North West Country has provided a small grant to Future-Kumeu to assist with their legal costs, and will become more involved in discussions between businesses and NZTA, Auckland Transport and Auckland Council.

Future-Kumeu will work closely with North West Country moving forward to develop mutual ways of working through the challenges that landowners and businesses face, and support proactive engagement with authorities.
