2018 started well for our Floral Art Club in February, with our members meeting at the Masonic Hall in Kowhai Street for our AGM and a Club day.
Our Title was Weddings. Nine members were present, each doing a different design. There were bouquets, headbands, table settings, a wristlet, and even a floral decorated wedding cake. Great practice for weddings that we are often asked to do flowers for.
The March Title was GREEN, as St Patrick’s Day was coming up. The results were amazing. This was a competition so our work was judged, which always makes us step up a mark! The lush green of all the beautiful leaves we have in our gardens look spectacular on their own. Also some designs were accompanied by pretty flowers.
