Woodturner, Andrew Denton will be demonstrating bowl and spindle turning over Labour Weekends ARTS in the VILLE annual festival. Come and see him outside of the ‘Lighthouse’, next to Magnify Church, 118 Commercial Road. Andrew will be there the whole three days from 10am-4pm and turning such items as wooden Christmas trees and tea light holders, (demonstrations 11am and 2pm) Please come along and say ‘hi’, and while you are there pop in to see the Christian Arts Fest in the ‘Lighthouse’ and vote for your favourites of the 100 or so works on display or simply browse the craft tables where there will be a huge array of very affordable items from silk scarves to fridge magnets, soft toys and clothing.
