Rolling straight out of the Heritage Weekend into Christmas, the team at Te Awaroa Museum are already working on the 2025 Christmas Lights display. There was so much positive feedback from the community last year, that the volunteers are giving it their all for more vintage Claus. The event, sponsored by the Northwest Country Business Association, promotes local businesses, and culminates in prizes for ‘Best Christmas Windows’. There’ll be a range of beautifully lit scenes in each of the Museum’s six buildings, making it a ‘must visit’ for families after dark. Keep an eye on the Te Awaroa Museum’s Facebook page for the start date. There’s no charge to the community; it’s the Museum’s thank you to those who have supported us. Let the festivities begin!
