A busway for local businesses is getting closer for North West Auckland
We are celebrating progress on the busway project, between Westgate and Brigham Creek.
The Northwest Busway (Te Ara Hauauru), planned between Westgate and Brigham Creek, has received statutory approvals under the Fast-track Approvals Act. The approval secures the long-term transport corridor and allows detailed design and delivery planning to continue while funding is sought for future construction.
Getting improved transport to our area has always been a focus, especially relieving bottle necks and congestion as our area grows. We will keep you updated with any news that comes out.
We would like to encourage local businesses to prepare for a change in how customers find services online. Instead of searching only through traditional search engines, more people are asking artificial intelligence tools direct questions about where to find nearby products and services. Writing your website with content that AI searches for is your next biggest marketing priority.
Business North West is improving its website and member directory listings to help local businesses appear in these searches. Members can assist by submitting short blog articles that answer the questions their customers ask most often and include a link to their website. Reach out to me at any time with your content.
The organisation has also welcomed Christine Lischner, Managing Director of Kumeu Insurance Services, to its Executive Committee as the representative for the Kumeu/Huapai area. She brings experience in insurance, risk management and business leadership, as well as strong community connections.
We want to offer a huge thank you to Teresa Nobilo-Healey from Zubu Women’s Fashion for her nine years of service.
Lastly, a big thank you to Beekeepers Wife in Riverhead for sponsoring our Speed Networking event. We had a great turn out and already are accumulating a wait list for the next one. We were treated to a great atmosphere and the most delicious pizzas.
