Waitoki Village Market Day
August 6, 2016 @ 8:30 am - 12:00 pm
Problems with your Project?
Want to know how to knit, crochet, cast on or off, read a pattern, or solve a dilemma? Come and meet the happy bunch of crafters who are members of the Waitoki Evening Craft Group. They’ll be the ones laughing and talking over needles, hooks and wheels at the next Waitoki Market. Charlie’s coming along too with his expertise on spinning wheels and is happy to chat about possible solutions to problem wheels. Bring along your hitches, someone’s always ready to help and discuss the possibilities of a project. One of the local fire trucks is going to be there as well with Dave doing a couple of demonstrations. Local instructor in Matsubayashi Ryu, Sensei James Johnston will also be there with his students demonstrating this authentic Okinawan Karate.
Lots to see and you can pick up homemade and preloved bargains, Bric a Brac, baked goods, preserves, plants and more, while sampling a delicious BBQ brunch, or just catch up with the neighbours, it’s good to know them before you need them!
Support your community; all proceeds from the Market go to maintaining the Hall and to our local community.
New stall holders welcome, contact Shirley 420 5111
