This photo was sent to us by Anne Martin, who felt that Ahorangi Starchild’s beautiful crocheted blanket deserved to be shared. Ahorangi is close to finishing this blanket, which she plans to donate. She recently completed a similar one and says she sends love to the recipients with every stitch.
Anne and Ahorangi are members of the Helensville Knitting Group, where all participants create lovely handmade items to donate to families in need. The group meets at the St. John Training Room every Tuesday at 10am, and new members are warmly welcomed to come along and join in.
