Chinese New Year & Valentine’s Day at Craigweil House

The start of the year was full of joy and celebration at Craigweil House! In January, we welcomed the Year of the Snake with festive decorations, thanks to our activities assistant, who brought a touch of home from China. Red lanterns and lucky symbols brightened up the home, setting the perfect atmosphere for the occasion. The highlight? Residents got hands-on making dumplings—rolling, folding, and filling them with care before enjoying their delicious creations together!

February brought Valentine’s Day, a time to celebrate love and friendship. Hearts, flowers, and sweet treats filled the home, creating a warm and cheerful atmosphere. Residents shared kind words, reminisced about love stories, and, of course, enjoyed plenty of chocolates!

It’s always wonderful to celebrate together, and we love creating these special moments for our residents. If you’d like to see the fun for yourself, we’d love to welcome you for a visit! Come say hello, share a laugh, and be part of our Craigweil House family. PH 09 420 8277.
