Linda Stevenson is an artist, designer and counsellor. These three fields of interest frequently overlap and feed into each other: manifesting in her richly coloured artworks.

Her art is influenced by travel, nature, philosophy, spirituality and psychology and perpetual curiosity. Her contemporary paintings are an expression of a deeper spirituality, and an extension of this perpetual curiosity. “In my paintings, words and emotions are transformed into combinations of symbolic colour, pattern and images. Psychology, theology, spirituality and art therapy (a means of ‘non-verbal communication’) provide the material from which I source my imagery.”
If you are a Christian who would like to exhibit your work, which doesn’t have to be religious in content, then please bring it to the Lighthouse, next to Magnify Church, 118 Commercial Road, Helensville, between 4.30 and 6.30pm on Tuesday 22nd October with your exhibitor fee of $5 for one piece, $3 each for two or more. Exhibition will run 10-4 Saturday 26th,- Monday 28th October 10-4 (Labour Weekend). The Festival is part of the 2024 ARTS in the VILLE.
