The 5th year of the Christmas colouring competition saw responsibility move from Lions Club of Helensville to South Kaipara Rotary. The sad demise of Crayola saw prizes changed to Paper Plus vouchers (children) sponsored by Helensville Paper Plus Select and cash for teen and adult winners sponsored by Helensville Unichem pharmacy.
Community thanks to the businesses which agreed to have the competition entries displayed in their windows.
Prize winners were announced and prizes awarded at the afternoon festival at the Helensville Museum on parade day.
