Te Waka Huia is a play inspired by the 1963 Brynderwyn bus crash. It is a fictional tribute to those who died in NZ’s worst road accident, and to those who have lived with the loss ever since. Te Waka Huia has its first public performances in August and September in a tour that loosely follows the original route of the bus from Waitangi to Helensville.
