Kara Singer
- A Mother, A Wife, A Boss!
My husband and I started our family at a young age and moved into the Shelly Beach area to pursue a commercial fishing business.
As a descendant of Ngati Whatua o Kaipara, I have always been dedicated, involved and passionate about our community.
Having served on the Waioneke School Board of Trustees, the Kaipara Netball Committee, the 1st response team at the Shelly Beach Fire station and on the Parent Committees for both Parakai Kindergarten and Parakai School. I literally live and breathe the community spirit and love to put people first. I enjoy striving for greatness in everything I do and I love being a highly driven achiever.
We brought our first property in South Head in 2019 and that is when my curiosity and my journey with Real Estate began.
During the Covid-19 lockdown in 2020 I gained my Real Estate Licence and knew that if i I wanted to make a difference in people’s lives, I had to join a really good agency, with a very good reputation, which is known for good value and they must put people first in service! So after interviewing and meeting with a couple of other agency’s I went along to a careers night held at Harcourts in Helensville.
From the moment I learned about Nicky Horsbrough’s story through real estate, I knew right then and there, I wanted to be part of her team. So, here I am now, February 2021, the “new kid on the block” Dedicated, Motivated and Determined to get great results that will impress.
In this short time I have managed to secure sponsorships with The KCSC Annual Fishing Competition and The Kaipara Regatta.
Furthermore to my sponsorships are The Shelly Beach Residents and Ratepayers Association. So with every successful sale in the Shelly Beach area, I will donate $500 back to the Shelly Beach Residents and Ratepayers Association to help towards the future of Shelly Beach.
I have created “The Annual Shelly Beach Sports-day” page and the “Locals supporting Locals community” page on Facebook to help promote our local business in the Helensville and surrounding areas.
I recently featured and supported at the “Beautiful Pasifika Festival” and I ran a “Community Closet” giveback on my Real Estate Facebook page for our locals in the form of Countdown vouchers.
Needless to say, I have discovered very quickly how fiercely competitive the real estate industry is and I am definitely up for the challenge!
My personality is open yet very business minded and I know the importance of achieving the very best outcomes and results so if you or anyone you know may be thinking about buying, selling or investing in property please feel free to give me a call. I look forward to meeting more of our locals and serving you with excellence and pride.
