September is a chance for Art Kaipara Members to show off their skills, from 2-year-old Bodhi Scott, now 3, brothers Tasman and Eli to people in their 80’s. The brothers are pictured in last Decembers annual Kid’s Art Show.
Making Music
Create a Music inspired work of Art and exhibit in October’s ‘Making Music’ Exhibition in the Helensville Art Centre. $5 exhibitors fee, 25% commission on sales. Any media, anything with a music related theme. Works to arrive Saturday September 28th 10-2 or Tuesday October 1st 10-4.30 Exhibition opens Friday 5th 6-8pm and runs until October 28th. 3-day film making workshop with international short film-maker Hank Snell. Learn how to use a camera, record sound, create a script, edit, act and generally all the skills needed to create a short film. Suitable for 9-16 year olds. Wednesday-Friday October 9th-11th.
