Join Art Kaipara for just $20 for 2017 and exhibit with no exhibitor fee in the April and September Members Exhibitions. But wait…there’s more, there is no commission to pay on sales in the Members Exhibitions. Just pop into the Art Centre to sign up and become a part of the thriving community of artists in the region. Youth rates are just $10 for the year, 16 or under. Next members Exhibition begins April 1st, with the Opening event at 5pm on March 31st. Works to arrive Saturday March 25th between 10am and 3pm or Tuesday 28th 10am-4.30pm. This is a great opportunity for people of all ages and at all stages of their artistic journey.
March 4th ‘3 for ALL’
Come in and enjoy the huge variety of art and artists this exhibition draws out of the woodwork. Work is still arriving so it is anybody’s guess what this exhibition holds. Runs March 4th-25th, Art Centre, Helensville. Basement of War Memorial Hall, 49 Commercial Road. Open 10-4.30 Tuesday-Friday, 10-3 Saturday.

Acrylics in a water-colour technique
Two day workshop with award winning artist Jan Alldritt-Miller subsidized through the Creative Communities Scheme May 13th & 14th only $140 Suitable for people at all stages of their creative development. Jan will share tips on drawing, composition, colours and more besides as she takes people through a set of paintings and teaches water-colour technique using acrylic paint. All materials provided.
